My mission is to help your tamariki find their confidence and thrive. I believe the best results come from a true partnership with you, your whānau, and your child's wider support team.
Together, we'll create a therapy plan that is ‘just right’—using the right approach at the right time to help your child build the skills they need for a happy, independent future.
My path to becoming an occupational therapist began when I was 11, watching my younger sister's life transform through her own OT sessions. Seeing the positive changes in her—and the ripple effect it had on our entire family—sparked a lifelong passion in me. That experience set me on a course to help other families find that same sense of hope and progress.
Since qualifying in 2005, I've had the privilege of working in a wide range of settings in both South Africa and here in New Zealand. This diverse experience has given me a deep understanding of how to support children and their families through various challenges. After seeing the need for a dedicated, child-first service in Wellington, I founded Enabling Kids in 2022.
I am committed to using the most effective, evidence-based methods to support your child. To that end, I am proud to be the first therapist in New Zealand to complete the Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Introductory Level C course.
I am fully registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand (OTBNZ).
When I'm not in the clinic, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our two boys. We love being active, exploring the outdoors, and riding our mountain bikes. I believe in living a full, energetic life, and I bring that same passion to my work with your whānau.
If you feel your child could benefit from support, I would love to hear from you. Let's work together to help them navigate their challenges and, most importantly, celebrate their unique strengths.
